Stargazing

"Stars" Maxfield Parrish - 1927

Stargazing.

I do it faithfully, as much as I possibly can. Much like a prayer, gazing upward keeps me grounded and humble, and connected to the earth where I live.

To be that peaceful in the midst of chaos could change the world.

At 40, I know that I cannot do all things. I am amused by the opportunities that life sends my way, such as the request to help create ads for the local paper... something I never did yet agreed to try...imagine me in front of a Mac trying to decifer a difficult graphic art program? Yet, as with all opportunities, I am game. I do not know how long I will part of this earth, so I take each offer, each opportunity, each invitation as a gift and am grateful for each new experience.

The one thing that I have not been successful in has been romantic relationships...so, that is my new goal for my 40th year of life. I am now, what, 40 years and four months old... time to explore this latest challenge.

So stargaze I will, and love I may find...and enjoy every bit of every day in every way I can.
