Sunflowers in June

Every June, I feel like wearing a “I (heart) sunflowers” tee shirt… all because of Mr. Pressly Coker, and the field he plants on 14th Street Extension (between Golf Course Road and Home Avenue).

He plants these amazing sunflowers that you can see on 14th Street Extension. Laura Crouch told me who planted them last year, when I first posted on HVTD about this amazing sight.

This morning, the sunflowers were all tipping their heads towards the sun, so I pulled over the van and walked down into the middle of the field.

And if I could have played music while walking through the field, this song would have been the one.

Once again, thank you, Mr. Coker, for planting these sunflowers!
