community theater

You agree to do community theater because....
1. You like to pretend you are still in junior high
2. You are a ham
3. It is fun to talk in an accent
4. Secretly you think that you could act in movies, for a large salary
5. The romantic in you believes in the power of theater to transcend the doldrums of everday life

That being said, I have thoroughly enjoyed being in the cast of the Fatal Fifties Affair for the Hartsville Community Players, we perform our dinner theater tomorrow night and Friday night. My character, Aunt Cora/Maybelle Franklin is a little bit silly and a lot country. I must remember to not die too dramatically nor fast, for my short square dancing skirt will fly up!!!!
