Ducky

We got this little Yorkie-Poo this summer, and lemme tell you, she has been a joy and a royal pain in the a** ever since.

She can be really charming and sweet.... and then run and pee tremendous puddles after you've just had her outside. She shreds magazines when she can reach them, chases the cat 'round and 'round the house, and generally makes me ask, "Why do we have this dog?" at least thrice daily.

Her new thing, or actually, according to my daughter it's been going on a while, is to every once in a while look at the corner of the living room and bark furiously...at nothing.

It makes you think she is seeing something, anything, and it's more than a little creepy. Her hair literally stands on end, and she will even boldly jump atop the recliner to get closer to her barking corner.

Seriously creepy.

This house was built in 1979, and to my knowledge the only thing that has died here is a dog (Fonzie the chihuahua) and a few marriages, so, I am not thinking she is seeing a ghost.

But, if she is, I hope it "finds the light" soon so this dog will quit freaking me out when I am watching tv by myself!

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go, my dear and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
not fate(for you are my fate, my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and its you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or the mind can hide)
and this is the wonder thats keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
