Ah, Vincent Van Gogh loved yellow. He adored it. He loved yellow flowers, fields of hay, yellow gold of lamplight, and the yellow hue of the sunlight. He especially loved sunflowers... and oh, how he would have loved the sight to behold on our very own 14th Street Extension, between Golf Course Road and Home Avenue.

(This field of sunflowers can be found on 14th Street Extension.)

Driving by the last few years, I just smile with anticipation as I drive by, for the green stalks quickly turn to this impressive display of sunflowers.

(They are so beautiful, go see them while they are still in bloom.)

Be still my heart, the beauty just is overwhelming! Who plants these? Who may I thank for this beautiful display?

(These honeybees are enjoying the field of sunflowers almost as much as I enjoy looking at them.)

Can someone please let me know who this field belongs to? If you know them, please thank them for me. Go be like Vincent, go see this lovely display, slow down and enjoy them, it's a treat for the eyes and the soul.
