Once Upon a Time....

Once Upon a Time....

Arts, Entertainment, Reviews

Once upon a time, a handsome young man with blue eyes met a beautiful young lady with blue eyes (and pretty red hair) and they went to Coker College together.

The young man joined the U.S. Army, became a Medic, and went to Iraq. The girl stayed in Hartsville, worked in town, and went about her life.

They never really got over eachother.

This winter the Army man traveled home to Hartsville to see his family, and the pretty red haired young lady and he rekindled their love.

This Valentine's week, he flew home to Hartsville... saw her act in the Hartsville Community Players Mystery Dinner Theater performance "Black and White"... and at the very end, before both their families and loved ones and surprised guests, got down on one knee and asked her to be his bride.

The Most Romantic Proposal....

They kissed....

The Most Romantic Proposal: the happy couple

She said "Yes!"

The Most Romantic Proposal... the happy couple, look at that ring!!

And the fairy tale romance of Kevin Capazzi and Tina Powell will be the most romantic proposal that this hopeless romantic has ever witnessed! Congratulations, Kevin and Tina, and may your marriage forever be as magical and romantic as your proposal night!

A night at the theater, indeed!

Thanks, Jana!
It was a wonderful night to start a wonderful new life. Thank you for being a fantastic friend, a fabulous castmate, and an always on site reporter for all things worth remembering.
(I just wish my hair hadn't been such a mess by that point!)

you are every minute beautiful, don't ever forget it!

Your hair is beautiful, always!, not a mess, in it's pretty, auburn-y, reddish, shiny, shaggy, falls just right, even in the rain pretty, way. Perfect for the "professional" you were playing!
The murder mystery was fun! We enjoyed it all, and meeting all the cast members. Way to go Hartsville! (I love this town!)
That proposal was the best ever! (A Meg Ryan movie moment, to be sure!) Thank you for saying "yes" and making my son the happiest man on earth!
